About:
Imagine you are out there all alone. You are surrounded by fresh air, long valleys and fjords, overlooking the glaciers from a high mountain. Earlier in the day, you looked at this particular mountain from your kayak in the fjord far below. The local tip you got down in the village turned out to be gold, and from up here the Norwegian mountains seem to offer endless adventures and experiences. Untouched nature, as far as you can see.
Urørte Norge, or Untouched Norway, will take you through a journey in the Norwegian mountains. Local characters, each with a unique and passionate relation to their local mountains, will reveal untouched and spectacular mountains in their neighbourhood.
The near relation that can be found between the fjords and the steep mountains is unique, and allows you to enjoy kayaking or boat life the very same day as you enjoy the views from 5000-7000 ft. above the sea. Moving inland, the glaciers offer four season skiing, the alpine mountain ranges offer climbing and more extreme activities. The mountains of Norway offers a wide range of impressions and it is no wonder that story tellers like Asbjørnsen and Moe found much inspiration here. We will show you the untouched Norway.
